FINISTERRÆ, NEW FRONTIER
The missing link between Bavarian Hefeweizens and Belgian Saisons, Finisterrae is a lifesaver during the days of heat spent in sultry biergartens.
It is our oasis in the desert, the refreshment we seek, a place where to find shelter for one’s body and spirit. Typically a summer beer, it is lighter than its Bavarian counterparts, as well as crisper and easier to drink. Enjoy with all of your senses.

GLASSWeizenglasWeizenglas
It is the glass typically used for weizen with a capacity that is usually around half a liter. Tall, with an important foot that ensures stability, it opens upwards, facilitating the formation of an abundant and persistent foam. The only flaw can be found in the large surface exposed to the air and to the contact with the hand which could lead to a rapid heating of the beer contained in it.

“Finisterrae is a time/space rift which causes Bayern and Belgium to border directly, passing through Limido Comasco”.
More about this beer
Finisterrae is the Birrificio Italiano take on the Bavarian classic. Straw golden in color, crowned by a frothy, optic-white head, this craft top-fermented beer is brewed with 50% of malted wheat. Nose is fresh and spiced, with herbal and tropical fruit notes given by the hops. The taste, initially sweet, suddenly evolves into an acidic feel and culminates in a subtle bitterness.
The right moment to drink this beer is within 5 months from bottling. Store below 10ºC, drink at about 8-10°C.
Pairings
Ideal setting: in the countryside, under a tree, for a picnic or a barbecue, or at your favorite biergarten; together with friends who don’t mind a little lightness.
Food: fresh goat or noble mold cheeses, grilled vegetables, grilled or stewed white meats. Great with light thai-style curries, raw or marinated fish. Try it with fruit- or yogurt-based cakes and desserts.
Other: it pairs well with subtle Tuscan cigars, especially the anise-flavored type.
