More about this beer
IPA matured in red wine barrels from Trentino with brett. The full-bodied base beer (reminding cookies, dried apricot) supports a weave of cellar and marc notes, together with a decisive funky fingerprint. A balsamic, pervasive bitterness wraps up the sip.
Bang Bretta is an American IPA brewed with Cascade, Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe hops, barrel aged for eight months in oak barrels previously containing red wine from Trentino, and conditioned over time with our selected Brettanomyces wild yeasts strain.
Pairings
Ideal setting: Drink when you’re in desperate need for an adrenalin rush!
Food: Complex, layered and intense, it is to be paired with game stews, American BBQ fare, “extreme” blue cheeses…. Still, it’s great with pizza: Margherita or Pepperoni, Banshy’s favorites!
